A photographic collage using my original images, combined in a foursome to tell a simple story using color, tone and pattern.

I've been taking photographs, most with a vintage vibe, for the past 20 years...and when I moved, I discovered that I had hordes of photo prints. Thumbing through them, I saw patterns emerge, often simple stories. Grouping them in sets of 4 images, I mounted the set on heavy duty watercolor paper...and then used my sewing machine to keep them in place and to add a textural element.

Each completed collage is 9" x 12" and is ready to slip into the frame of your choice...or as I often do - use a binder clip or a vintage clip board - hang it on the wall - instant photo gallery!

The black edge in the photo listing image is just a background - the collage comes just as the white watercolor paper, with a supportive cardboard backing. The second listing image shows the detail of the sewing on each collage.

Each collage is unique with its grouping of 4 images.
