I have always had a love for fabric and textiles. Combining colors, textures and tones brings me joy.

As I’ve been purging and using up my 40+ years of fabric hoarding, from creating vintage linens to one of a kind artist tote bags, I find that I have a mound of scraps remaining…and of course I could not throw them away!

My latest creations - Scrap Fabric Banners

A collage of fabric - sewn together in a cohesive union, tied together by color and tone…unified with a word of wisdom and finished with a metal clip…to hang wherever it might catch your eye…be it your office, your garden, a special nook in your home. Or it might just be the perfect gift for that special friend.

This scrap banner is 25” x 4.5”, created with a blend of neutral tones and stripes in cotton and linen fabrics, including an art image of mine, Baby Ben alarm clocks, printed onto cotton canvas. Handprinted black circles on muslin add textural interest . An vintage enamel clock face tied with a pearl button in the middle is attached at the bottom end and adds weight to ensure the banner hangs straight.

Every banner comes with a metal hook for hanging.
