An original mixed media collage that combines fabric, an old photo, vintage ephemera and found objects to tell a unique story. Weaving texture and pattern with color and tone lends a contemporary voice to these recycled elements. This collage is part of my “Everyday Women” series.

The collage foundation is a 5” x 7” x .875” birch cradle box which has been painted in a complimentary tone and the back finished with a piece of vintage wallpaper. The collage is meant to be displayed as a free-standing art piece.
