I enjoy creating a story from old photographs of forgotten family members and pairing quirky quotes from discarded books with each person, imagining what they might say if they spoke their mind…join me if you think you might enjoy this too!

Using a vintage cabinet card (those turn of the century family portraits that were usually displayed in a cabinet in the home) as a prompt, you’ll have plenty of papers and ephemera to start…adding in whatever phrases you find in old books to complete your story. Your creation will be backed with a page of vintage marbled book end paper and finally attached to a wood beveled base, ready to display anywhere you want.

The workshop will be held in the Ogden Room, a meeting space at the apartment building where I live in downtown Everett. Details on location and parking will be included with your registration confirmation.
