And with the turn of the calendar page…it is now November…soon festive activities will fill the rest of the year. In between celebrations with family and friends, I hope there will be reflection on changes in the season, remembering to be grateful for what we have and to offer solace and kindness to those who need it.
As I’ve written previously, I am grateful that I have a space to create and the freedom to putter around my studio. The quiet in which I can express myself is cherished.
“So long as you write what you wish to write, that is all that matters, and whether it matters for ages or only for hours, nobody can say.”
Virginia Woolf says it best…and whether you write, or paint, knit, cook or glue pieces of paper together - I hope you take the time during these weeks to do what soothes your soul, whatever that might be.
and as a final note, I wanted to share information on my in-person workshop with you…
Using household materials, office supplies and basic craft items, we’ll create unique gift packaging to add a personal touch to every present you wrap. Details on each project and how to register for the workshop can be found on my website, under the SHOP tab. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
